Tredegar House

Tredegar House is a beautiful 17^th Century Mansion on the outskirts of Newport.  

The house, built around the Charles II period, is a great place to spend a few hours, with a lake and children’s area.

 In a relaxed day you can visit the house and imagine how life would have been for the family who lived there in it’s lush surroundings and how the servants would have lived downstairs.  

After you’ve visited the house, why not try a woodland walk or visit one of the many craftsmen who work in the stables area.
